Since the First Turning of the Wheel of Truth, Master Okawa has been teaching the Truth all over the world. His teachings cover a wide range of topics including religion, politics, economics, culture, arts, and education. The number of lectures has exceeded 3,500 and publication has surpassed 3,150. Master Okawa has been giving us many teachings to make people happy worldwide.
I have been teaching these laws in various ways with the wish that you will encounter this chance, that at some point you will be touched by the chance for enlightenment. The contents of my teachings have addressed diverse subjects, but even as diverse as they have been, the singular laws of the mind persist through all of them.

Master Ryuho Okawa is giving the teachings of the mind—Buddha’s Truth, for the happiness of all people. To believe in the Lord and to learn Buddha’s Truth that the Lord teaches and correct your mind are what we call the Exploration of Right Mind. The concrete, practical method to do this is the Fourfold Path—love, wisdom, self-reflection, and progress.

The thoughts of Shakyamuni Buddha and Hermes, the last two branch spirits of El Cantare that descended to earth, are the pillars of the East and West. Happy Science teachings integrate both thoughts, and this shows how important Master’s teachings are in creating utopia on a global scale.
Hermes’ thought became the origin of the West, while Buddha’s thought became the core of the East. When humanity realizes that the fundamental thought that underlies both the West and the East has come from the spiritual being called El Cantare, they will naturally awaken to the enlightenment as Earthlings. I would like you all to know that Western and Eastern thought have the same roots.
Now, I am here to unite and combine the two thoughts, and I am thinking of making a new global religion.
I have begun my activities so that humanity can live in a utopia and let them live in a world of happiness.

Happy Science is carrying out its activities as an “advanced religion.” That is, (1) to become a future-oriented religion that can design and create the future society and lead humanity in the right direction, (2) to bring absolute peace to the world by spreading the teachings that will become the backbone of the common value of humanity, (3) to bring the values of the heavenly world to this world and create heaven on Earth.
I am spreading this movement with the resolve to end all religious wars. Wars will never end unless we fix their root problem. At the root of war, there is hatred, anger, and distrust. It is because they cannot understand one another.
Out of my numerous teachings, I have taught about reincarnation. When you study this teaching of reincarnation deeply, you will understand that humans can be born in Europe during one lifetime, the U.S. in another, or in China, South Korea, or Japan.
If that is the case, we must not let our anger boil based on the nation’s boundaries.

Happy Science aims to overcome the conflicts between atheistic, materialistic countries and countries that have faith, and to resolve hatred caused by the differences in religions around the world. We want to be a religion that continues to voice the message, “Transcend hatred and embrace love.”

“You must work to build a utopia on Earth, overcoming differences of nationality by acting simply as inhabitants of this planet. In the past, you were all children of Buddha working together to spread the Light and you shall remain so both now and in the future. Cast aside all hatred and embrace love. Do not mourn over differences but rejoice in the equality of your Buddha-nature. The new millennium will be full of hope.” This is the message that El Cantare offers.

Major world religions and philosophies such as Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and Confucianism all have faith in different gods. This difference is due to the period and region in which they were established. Sometimes, the difference in names causes conflict to arise. However, once people understand that all these gods came from the same being, the Supreme God El Cantare, they will realize that conflict between religions is meaningless.
Human souls are divided from God’s Light, and we are all children of God. When you understand this spiritual truth, you will see that we are all precious beings who are loved equally by the Lord and have eternal life. Each one of us has the potential to grow infinitely within us. We will also understand that we should not discriminate against others based on race, gender, or social class but rather should respect, love, and nurture each other.
Humans have eternal life, and they originally lived in the heavenly world. They are reborn many times from heaven to the earth. Through this process, they are born in various nations, regions, races, and genders and gain different experiences. For example, if you are living in a country that is at war, you can develop a more tolerant heart by thinking, “What if I had been born in the opposing country in my past life?” Such a thought may find a means to create peace.

Into the Storm of International Politics
Now, people in 170 countries believe in Lord El Cantare, and Master Okawa’s lectures are being broadcast worldwide. However, the Lord’s teachings are not just studied by the people on Earth. Our Lord is not just the Master of Earth, and His teachings are spreading in the universe.
According to space standards, the Earth civilization possesses a very high level of culture and art. Space people cannot understand the concept of “love for neighbors,” “love for the world,” or “love for the nation.” Since they cannot understand why intelligent and strong people on Earth do not try to destroy the weak, and why some would even sacrifice themselves for love, they want to learn such qualities from Earthlings. This is considered one of the reasons for their visit.
Immediately after the lecture, many people witnessed the UFO fleet in the sky above the venue, Yokohama Arena (photo above). The mass media also reported this.
On December 4, 2010, I gave a grand lecture at Yokohama Arena. In the last five minutes of my lecture, I predicted the coming of the space age, when our exchanges with extraterrestrials will begin.
When the audience left the arena, thousands of them witnessed a large formation of UFOs hovering in the sky over Yokohama. Many photos were taken of the sighting, and some people even witnessed smaller ships emerge from a mothership. There must have been around 100 UFOs in the skies that day.
We have found out that my lectures, broadcast to various locations, are also being tuned into by beings other than the people on Earth.

Lord El Cantare is now on earth under the name “Ryuho Okawa.” He carries “The Mission of Buddha (enlightenment),” “The Mission of Savior (salvation),” and the mission to teach “The Laws of the Universe.” Master’s teachings even encompass the coming age when Earth people will interact with space brothers. Such teachings cannot be taught by anyone but the Lord. Being able to teach “The Laws of the Universe” means Lord El Cantare is also the God of the Universe.
