We believe saving people through our teachings is the greatest form of social contribution to everyone in the world. At the same time, we also feel that it is crucial to provide them with material to support people in the physical world. We are doing our best to give our helping hands to those who are suffering from poverty, natural disasters and illnesses around the world. We also provide international support by participating in various charity activities and disaster restoration aids.
Part of the donations given to us, and the Happiness Planting we receive are put in use for such activities. We would like to continue our activities to provide support to the world through everyone’s cooperation.

HS Nelson Mandela Fund

HS Nelson Mandela Fund

The “HS Nelson Mandela Fund” was established within Happy Science in 2013 to commemorate the publication of Nelson Mandela’s Last Message to the World (IRH Press), and to realize the ideals Mr. Nelson Mandela had for this world. With the aim to nurture future leaders of each country, this fund supports people who suffer from discrimination due to race, gender, caste and lack of education caused by poverty, or from political oppression, and helps people who cannot receive medical treatment.

The HS Nelson Mandela Fund conducts activities, such as donating a container-library to a primary school in South Africa, in cooperation with the Nelson Mandela Foundation, founded by Nelson Mandela himself in South Africa in 1999.

The HS Nelson Mandela Fund has also been providing support to different countries such as educational support and medical charities in India, textbooks and computer donations to Uganda, countermeasures for Ebola fever in Nigeria and Ghana, educational support in an orphanage in Benin, and disaster relief in Nepal. By providing opportunities for faith-based education, we are nurturing people in many parts of the world to cultivate their own characters and contribute to society.
