My name is Mitsuomi and I was an alchoholic in my 20s. I had started working at my father’s supermarket, but the work did not interest me and I did not work seriously. I felt that life was unfair and I turned my sense of injustice toward social ills, and joined the Communist Party. I also joined a religion in which we would simply chant to gain material things, and my mind turned toward materialism.
